Astraea // Typeface Development

Type Teamwork was a collaborative workshop, consisting of twelve designers creating an original typeface. Within five days our team brainstormed, sketched, illustrated and perfected our very own typeface, Astraea. It was later developed to be used in various design programs.

After the creation of Astraea, it was CNC wood routed, allowing for the team to letterpress it. A set of detachable serifs were designed as well.
